As a rough rule of thumb within all
the hearing aid manufacturers who supply hearing aids in the UK you
can split hearing aid technology into four bands; Entry Level, Mid
Range, Advanced and Premium.
Entry Level Hearing Aids
Entry level hearing aids tend to be
supplied from around £495, you would expect an entry level hearing
aid to perform basic functions. We tend to supply entry level
hearing aids to people who are happy with the performance of their
NHS issue hearing aids but want something a little more discreet and
easier to handle, for instance an 'in the ear' hearing aid.

Mid Range Hearing Aids
Mid range hearing aids tend to be
supplied from £695 upwards, they have more features than the entry
level, typically some automatic adjustment and some noise reduction
features to help with understanding speech in light background
noise.

Advanced Range Hearing Aids
Advanced range hearing aids tend to be
supplied from £995 upwards, clients needing good performance in
noisy environments would purchase this level of technology. This
range probably gives the best possible balance of performance and
value for money.

Premium range hearing aids tend to be
supplied from £1295 and give the best possible performance. Every
feature available in hearing aid technology is present is the
premium range, if you want the best possible performance this is the
level to aim for.
